SOCIETY FOR ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL RESEARCH (SENSOR) is an NGO, registered with the Registrar of Societies, Thiruvananthapuram (Reg. No. T 646 / 2000), under Travancore – Cochin, Cultural, Scientific and Charitable societies Act (1955). This R & D organization is intended to create environmental awareness across various segments of the society. The research mandate of this centre lies in the areas of environmental monitoring, resource analysis, pollution studies, EIA, eco- restoration studies, conservation and planning, socio-economic studies etc. The administration and management of this society is under the control of an executive council which include distinguished scientists and eminent personalities from various front-line educational and scientific organizations.
